North American VTOL was founded in 1990 as a business entity to design, develop, manufacture and market personal vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (VTOL). The company has researched, designed, developed and integrated all the necessary technologies required for an automobile sized VTOL roadable aircraft. These include 3D computer flight control systems, navigation control, efficient ducted fan designs, thrust vectoring system and aerodynamically stable composite airframe structures. The single most significant spin-off technology is the 3D navigation system, the 4 X 4 hybrid power system and the flight and drive control system.

Our purpose is to research, design, and build personal air transport vehicles that are as safe, more efficient, and as easy-to-use as an automobile, and would not be constrained by existing transportation networks, but will provide quick and easy transport to any destination.

This vehicle will have low environmental impact in terms of noise, emissions, and fuel consumption. Along with the vehicle’s efficient power system, the ability to fly and drive in our nations sky’s and highway systems makes this vehicle the all important next step into the future of transportation and a fundamental turning point in transportation history.
